Billings Clinic Profile

Eric Saberhagen, MD, FACP, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is the Chairman for the Department of Internal Medicine here at Billings Clinic. Dr. Saberhagen is also an influential Core Faculty Member in the program. Dr. Saberhagen is thrilled to use his medical expertise and willingness to innovate to advance medical education in new models and train the Internal Medicine specialists of the future.

Dr. Saberhagen completed his undergraduate work at Baylor University, and later went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Dr. Saberhagen acquired his Residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in Kansas City, KS from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Saberhagen spent his first 5 years (1999-2004) of practice at Deaconess Billings Clinic. Dr. Saberhagen missed the Clinic and Billings so much that he decided to return in 2008. Dr. Saberhagen wanted to return to the Western states, as he knew it was going to be a great fit for him. After almost fifteen years in the state, Dr. Saberhagen still enjoys spending time (when he’s not in the office) exploring and sightseeing the outdoors with his family.
