Jason Kunz, DO, FACP Assistant Program Director, Inpatient Medicine

Jason Kunz, DO, serves as Assistant Program Director, Inpatient Medicine here at Billings Clinic Internal Medicine Residency. Dr. Kunz is involved with initiating projects with the Billings Clinic Safe and Reliable Committee, especially projects related to safety and communication between the hospital and the residency.

Dr. Kunz received his Bachelor of Science degree at Brigham Young University-Idaho and received his Doctor of Osteopathy from A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. From 2012-2015 he completed his internal medicine residency training at Summa Health System, which was recognized by the ACGME as one of an elite group of 17 programs designated as Education Innovation Programs (EIP). Dr. Kunz joined Billings Clinic after his residency training in 2015.

Dr. Kunz calls Southeast Idaho “home”. After living in multiple states as well as overseas in England and Zimbabwe, Africa, Dr. Kunz returned back to the region. Dr. Kunz enjoys hanging out with his wife and kids, but also enjoys church service, horseback riding, hiking, soccer, running, mountain biking, four-wheeling, kayaking, scouting, and singing.
